PLEASE NOTE: THIS CONSULTATION HAS NOW CLOSED

The 'Canal Corridor' area of Gloucester has for many years been one of the City's key employment areas.

The continued success of this area for the future is important and this consultation was undertaken to find out how you think it can continue to play an important part of the economy and to help us identify the priorities and needs of businesses located within the area.

The consultation ran from Tuesday 9th March to Thursday 1st April 2010. In total, 53 responses were received.

Next steps

Responses will be collated and findings presented at an open event and a summary of responses will also be made available on this website. The responses will feed into the emerging Joint Core Strategy which, amongst other things, will set out a strategy for the economy of the area up to 2026.

Depending on the nature of the responses, both in terms of the number and content, an action plan will be produced for the area. This may involve liaison with other partners / agencies to try to address your particular concerns and achieve results.
