There are three main ways by which you can comment on the JCS Review. Our preference is via our online portal, but email and post options will also be available. Full details about each option is set out below. However you choose to comment we ask you to be concise in your responses in order to ensure efficient and effective review of comments, which will inform the next iteration of the plan.
Online portal
We would like comments completed using the new online portal, which will be available when a consultation is live. This will significantly aid our ability to record, analyse and respond to representations. The online portal will require you to register/sign up, if you haven’t already, or log in. From here you will be able to access all the relevant documents, digitally, including the plan being consulted on, and any supporting documents and evidence.
Following registration or logging in, select the relevant plan consultation, e.g. Preferred Strategy (Regulation 18) Draft Plan Consultation. This will guide you through the plan and consultation questions, where you will be able to answer questions and make comments as you read through. You can save your progress and come back to it as many times as you like before submitting your comments.
Alternatively, you may email us setting out the question you are responding to, identifying the section, paragraph number, policy, and or site you are commenting on. Please be as concise as possible.
Post
Comments by post, particularly handwritten letters, require scanning, transcribing and processing, slowing our ability to process your representation and risks misinterpretation. However, if you have no other means to comment, you may write to us.
