Issues and Options Consultation, October 2018
The JCS authorities (Gloucester City Council, Cheltenham Borough Council and Tewkesbury Borough Council) published an ‘Issues and Options’ consultation document in October 2018 under Regulation 18 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.
This consultation asked 15 key questions, including:
What timeframe should the plan cover?
How many and what type of new homes are needed to provide for our communities?
How can the plan support existing and new businesses?
What infrastructure is needed to support growth?
How can we best plan for the changing nature of city and town centres?
The consultation lasted for over eight weeks between Monday, 12 November 2018 and Friday, 11 January 2019 and was supported by public events in each of the three local authority areas.
